2012 NBHA District 10 Rules to remember:
- CASH ONLY AT ALL RACES
- Must be an NBHA member is good standing:
membership and knowing rules are your responsibility. If your membership is
expired and you race, your points will not be counted at the race even if you
have already accumulated points. If you win cash, you will be asked to return
it so we can award it to a member in good standing. NO EXCEPTIONS- membership
is your responsibility!
- We offer day passes for $10.00 per person. No
points will be awarded.
- You must wear boots and jeans. No tennis shoes.
At our races, we waive the long sleeve shirt and hat dress code, unless
otherwise stated.
- You must maintain reasonable control of your
horse. Please show respect at the arena and around the facility. DO NOT use the
gate to stop your horse, you will be liable to fix it or any other damages you
and your horse caused.
- Please clean up after yourself, do not leave
your trash, or clean your trailer out at the arena grounds. We are fortunate to
have a beautiful facility to run at. Please help us by cleaning up after
yourself, there are trash barrel all around the arena facility.
To Qualify for Year-End Awards:
- Must sell $50 raffle tickets and turn in tickets
before the first rider at the July race. Tickets will be available at the March
race.
- Must be a District 10 member in good standing.
- Points are given out to the top 5 members in
each division. 5 pts to 1st, 4 pts for 2nd etc. in case
of a tie, the higher point is awarded to both members and the next place will
be skipped.
- Year-End ties of the season will be awarded to
the member:

With most higher placing’s

If both members have same number as higher
placing’s, then we will flip a coin to determine the winner or have a run off. Date will be
arranged by the District Director.
- For new members: rules for running for awards is
that you can run in only 1 district for year-end awards. You must declare a
district you are choosing to run in and send a form to national. If you are not
living in the district area you are choosing to run for year-end awards, you
can run just for money at any NBHA sanctioned race.
Pee Wee Riders
- Must be 7 years old or younger as of January 1,
2012
- Must wear a helmet
- Must be a NBHA member
- Must have a minimum of 4 runs to qualify for
awards
Youth Riders
- Must be 12 years old or younger as of January 1,
2012
Teen Riders
- Must be 18 years old or younger as of January 1,
2012
Qualification for State Championships
- Must have 6 races with your designated district
- Only Open, Youth, Teen and Senior divisions count towards
qualifying for State Championships
- Must be a NBHA member in good standing
